Polos is a dinosaur hunter who was met on Bumpkos Island. He was screwed over by Hespero via his lawyer Malbec Riesling.

Polos is sympathetic to the heroes during A completely avoidable international incident when they are on trial for kidnapping The Ambassador.

Later on,

Polos [disbars] Malbec. The gang later sees Polos, seemingly shocked by his own actions. The gang learns that Polos would be subject to abuse of power charges (which carries a possible death sentence) after his term as judge expires.
